At Macaluso LLP, our lawyers, from time to time, act as internal counsel for some of our clients or their subsidiaries or affiliates on an as-needed outsourced basis. Assignments have ranged from onsite or offsite work on specific projects or relative to specific objectives to acting as corporate, treasury or general counsel on an interim basis. We also advise corporate boards and provide corporate counsel generally, including in connection with acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and securities offerings.

For example, our managing partner acted as treasury counsel with responsibility for all global treasury activities of a $120 billion subsidiary of a Fortune 25 company for over a dozen years concerning virtually all its capital markets and structured finance activities around the world. He was part of the on-the-ground team that acquired the business that became the company’s London and, ultimately, European operations. He was also a member of the leadership team that built and put into place the first funding facilities for the new European treasury group and set up its operations.
