As Attorney-Adviser (International) with U.S. Department of Commerce, Washington, D.C., one of our lawyers advised client agencies within the International Trade Administration (ITA) on export promotion and U.S. Government advocacy supporting the interests of U.S. companies. Provided legal advice to assist U.S. companies with issues involving foreign trade compliance under applicable trade agreements (particularly WTO and NAFTA) and U.S. trade statutes including Sections 301 (U.S. trade retaliation) and 201 (safeguards) of the Trade Act of 1974, and Special 301 and Section 337 (Intellectual Property Rights (IPR))
